Hajj & Umrah Overview
Hajj is the fifth pillar of Islam and is obligatory for every Muslim who is physically and financially able to perform it at least once in their lifetime.

- Greater rewards but more demanding
Umrah is often called the ‘lesser pilgrimage’ and can be performed at any time of the year. It is highly recommended but not obligatory.
- Can be performed any time of the year
- Not obligatory but highly recommended
- Simpler rituals than Hajj
- Shorter duration (can be completed in a few hours)
Both pilgrimages offer immense spiritual benefits and an opportunity to purify one’s soul and seek forgiveness from Allah.
